Carbon Reduction In Curricula

This page contains materials and information that could help students and tutors in FE & HE to reduce the carbon footprint of both their curricula and their individual working practices.

The Carbon Reduction in Curricula workshop itself offers a basic method for identifying ‘efficiencies’ that can be made in terms of such things as reducing energy consumption, changing to carbon neutral raw materials and other simple measures.

Having identified actions to take on carbon reduction, the workshop participants may then wish to visit the Subject Area page on the SITE which is relevant to their curricula. Each subject area page contains information, weblinks and downloadable materials on relevant sustainability matters including carbon reduction.

Also, visit the Carbon Reduction subject area page for information, links and documents on organisations and methodologies for both measuring and reducing carbon footprints. If the SITE Carbon Reduction in Curricula workshop is to basic for your purposes, then the Carbon Reduction subject area page links to a range of downloadable workshop materials from other sources which are more advanced, rigorous and scientific in their methodologies. There are also other ‘beginner level’ workshop materials too.
